Derrick became involved with Loughborough Falcons when his son Ady signed on for the under 15s in 1976.Derrick became chairman of the club in 1977 and he held that position for 18 years until 1995 and then became the first President of the club.With derricks vast experience in being involved with different organisations within the town he soon laid the foundations of the running of Loughborough Falcons and most of these are still the backbone of the club todayDerrick along with his wife Marion attended most of the game's home and away over the 18 years he was chairman, and he would go out of his way to make sure he spoke to most of the players and supporters on match days.When their was any disputes concerning Loughborough Falcons inside or outside of the club Derrick would listen to all sides concerned before reaching a decision and I cannot remember any member of the club disputing his decision.We only see Derrick and Marion occasionally on match days but we know that there enthusiasm and support for the club is still second to none					HONOURS	Chairman Cup	80/81

					I was one of the founder members of Loughborough Falcons in 1975 and was the manager of our first 2 junior teams, when these teams could go no further in junior football I still took an active part in running the club, I have been the treasurer for 22 years and I am the present Vice President of the club.I try to help the manager where possible on match days and basically help Pam our Secretary to run the club on a day-to-day basis.

Jayne has been on the committee for10years and is the current minutes Secretary she also take an active part in organising the club's social event Jayne did most of the organising to start our 3rd junior team in 1994 which went on to be out most successful junior team and they played 35 League matches over a period of two years undefeated.Most of the players who played in his team are now playing at a higher level of football on a Saturday & Sunday and two of them are playing for our successful senior team at present					Pam was one of the founder members of Loughborough Falcons football club and has been involved in the running of it in all of the 31 years we have been established. The first two years she was on the committee and for the last 29years has been Secretary. Pam has always been there to help out in any way she can like taking players to the hospital when injured and helping the managers phoning players etc and when the appointed referee has let us down she as spent hours on the phone to organise another oneand she is usually successful. If there are any jobs to be done on match days Pam will be there to help out especially after the match when we are collecting the nets corner posts etc.l think that all the people that have been involved with Loughborough Falcons over the last 31years would agreed that we have got in Pam one of the best secretaries around and the club hopes that Pam continues as Secretary way into the future .
