6th April Away League L/Boro SAINTS Lost 7-2

For saying we had four of our squad missing we still turned out a strong team and knowing that one point would be enough to end the season in third place we thought that would be a enough motivation to go and play a good game but it was not to be we never settled from the start and we soon found ourselves a goal down within the first 10 minutes Saints were winning everything and within the half-hour they had scored two more goals which took us into half-time trailing 3-0 We started the second half on top and through some good play which ended in Das barrett pulling a goal back and two minutes after we should have got our second goal which would have made the game more interesting but from then on Saints took control again and went on to add 4 more goals Ross locker pulled one back halfway through the half but Saints ran out 7-2 victors in the end We could still end third but are relying on the Birstall Stamford to win their games against Saints in a couple of weeks' time
